We’re Suzana and Marcus, the co-founders of Soul Sync Yoga. The proud parents of 5-year old Yasmin Lakshmi.
As travel lovers, we wanted to find a way to escape the corporate system, so we combined our love for yoga, with entrepreneurship.
This project was made possible by Wealthy Affiliate, an affiliate marketing program that teaches people like us how to succeed online.

My love and interest in yoga started in the 90’s as a teenager. Since then, I have dedicated myself to learning from many different great teachers around the world.
Today, I’m continually participating in workshops, trainings, and conferences to increase my knowledge in all physical, therapeutic and philosophical aspects of this great ancient science.
I’ve had the opportunity to travel to mother India numerous times to gain a deeper understanding of the yogic traditions.
Currently, I’m a Registered Yoga Alliance Teacher (RYT), a certified Hatha Yoga, Vinyasa, Yoga Sculpt, Yin Yoga and Meditation Teacher.
To me, yoga is not only a life, but many lifetime practices. I can share by experience that the benefits it creates on the mind, body, and soul are immeasurable.
The self-awareness that it generates can be extended to every aspect of life. Yoga is a path that enlightens our true nature. It teaches us to go through situations with grace while being present and also connected with ourselves.
It’s a gift that provides us with physical and mental flexibility, as well as hope, health, compassion, calmness, strength balance, sense of community, and peace.
I’m a true believer that we practice love for ourselves when we practice yoga. And it’s by combining awareness on the body with concentration on the breath that we can get to a state of “meditation in motion”.
I was introduced to yoga in the late 90’s by a surfer friend. He had been practicing it for many years. He told me it improved his performance in the water tremendously.
Back then, as a surfer and a student-athlete (soccer), I always looked for ways to improve mentally and physically, whether it was with nutrition, or work-outs that complemented these two sports.
Then, I met Suzana who influenced me to become a regular at her classes. I was hooked, literally.
I went on to graduate with business degrees. Meanwhile, I worked in various industries, including hotels and restaurants, construction, finance, and college athletics.
I had a passion for technology, which influenced me to go to graduate school for a Master’s of Information Systems. I then became a Business Analyst with experiences in the health, and casualty & property insurance industries.
We combined yoga with technology. So I’m the one responsible for sharing her teachings with the community.
To me, it’s just satisfying to do the things I like with the person I love the most, and to be able to impact people’s lives through the beautiful teachings and the benefits of yoga, while staying healthy, in shape, and connected with my inner self.
